WE'RE IN THE NEWS : Managing a Crisis in Real Time

The solar energy industry has been under fire for months, with the entire alternative energy sector continuing to feel the fallout from the Solyndra loan guarantee scandal.

Join IABC DC/Metro at our February chapter meeting to hear how the industry responded to an unfolding crisis and lessons learned. These lessons can be applied to situations across diverse organizations.

Monique Hanis, Director of Communications and Spokesperson for the Solar Energy Industries Association, will share her organization’s experiences, and how the solar power industry as a whole has responded.

Robert Rehg, President, Edelman Washington, specializes in reputation management, corporate communications and crisis and issues management. Robert will discuss the industry’s response.
