IAbc dc/metro chapter meeting
TURNING A CAMPAIGN INTO A CONVERSATION
By now, you probably know the social media basics. Like many communicators across the seas, you’re trying to wrap your head around social media, looking for the best way to implement online communications in your campaigns and outreach efforts.
In the age of Twitter and Facebook, how we communicate continues to change. How can organizations today educate, collaborate and encourage engagement and debate among thousands of people around the world?
In September, we’re featuring Erin Dick, who leads communications for Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, a company with $3.2 billion in annual revenue. Erin has worked in aerospace and defense communications for 15 years.
In this session, you'll learn how one company:
-
Used social media tools as part of a major campaign to build support and influence decision makers playing a key role in determining the future of the company
-
Used social media to change the corporate culture
-
Successfully integrated traditional and not-so-traditional communications tools, building a model that other business units are now replicating.
Please Note: Our September chapter meeting is being held two weeks later than usual, due to the Labor Day holiday.
